Owens family with baby Alexis
Carter loves holding baby Alexis. Especially when she is not crying!

Oma made a cake so we could celebrate Kayla and Brayden's birthday. That was so sweet of her. Here Kayla is opening her birthday present from oma and opah with the help of her cute cousin Kaiya.
On the Way Home from Arizon we Stopped off in Denton to Visit Tanya's Family
Aunt Kara, Kaiya and baby Alexis
Kaiya loved holding baby Alexis. She kept wanting to put her pacifier in her mouth and give her lots of kisses.
Alexis loves Kaiya's kisses! How sweet is that.

Ashlynn is so good with Alexis. She is a natural mother. Anytime Alexis is fussy Ashlynn can always get her to calm down. She is also really good at putting her to sleep and taken care of her.
Kayla loves to play her flute for Alexis
Brayden says "When i am having a hard day I like to come home and hold my baby sister cause she helps me feel better and makes me happy."
Arizona September 2009
We went to Arizona over labor day weekend to bless Alexis along with Julianne (Charles and Opal's Baby). It was a quick trip but we had a lot of fun. It was great to see the family and was a special experience to be able to bless both babies together. Opal and Tanya dressed their babies alike and took some pictures together. Alexis cried the whole time we took blessing pictures but she was at least quiet for the blessing.

Kayla turned 12
"Yes I got my spaghetti dinner for my birthday"
Brayden went ice skating
Brayden got to go ice skating for the first time for telling the truth 100 times. We had a little jar and every time Brayden told the truth he got to put a penny in the jar. We told him that when he earned one hundred pennies that he could pick what he wanted to do. Brayden picked going out with his dad ice skating. They had so much fun when Brayden got home he said, "I figured it out. I can save my lawn mowing money for a month and then I can pay for Dad and I to go Ice skating again."
